PHNOM PENH: The construction of the Chom Chao flyover and underpass was 99 percent complete as of Mar. 14, and the Phnom Penh municipal administration has planned to put them for temporary use on Mar. 19.

The information was shared after the inspection visit to the construction site by H.E. Khuong Sreng, Phnom Penh Municipal Governor yesterday afternoon.

This new infrastructure was constructed by Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC), a local construction company, for 30 months. The construction, which began on June 29, 2018, under the presidency of Prime Minister Hun Sen, cost some US$22 million.

Chom Chao flyover and underpass will help not only facilitate people’s travel but also enhance the beauty and development in the capital.
